10 Year Anniversarty Trip

Jim and I just celebrated our 10 year anniversary. He planned an AMAZING trip! Thanks Babe I love you!! We went to San Diego - I love it there!

The first day we took a tour of the USS Midway, it is an aircraft carrier from WWII - 1992 - I learned alot and gained even more respect for the men and women that serve our country for our freedom! This is a picture of Jim in the Brig - It was a fun day. (below on USS Midway)

The next day we went to the races at Del Mar, there were ladies in fancy hats and dresses, just like the movies. We had a great time. After the races there was a Ziggy Marley concert, we went for a while but then headed out.... we were getting a contact high just standing there and you could tell things were getting a little out of control. It was a great day, I always love watching horse races, the horses are true athletes. And I had a great date! (below) Jim at DelMar

We also got to go on a lunch cruise - they took us out on a cruise of the San Diego Bay, the food was great and the beer was "free flowing" so Jim had his fill - Good Times! After the lunch cruise we went and hung out at Mission Beach! I LOVE THE BEACH!

We went to the San Diego Zoo - Holy Cow! that zoo is HUGE! It was fun to see all the different animals.

Jim bought tickets for us to go see the Broadway show SPAMALOT! It was so funny!! We had great seats and lots of laughs!!

Summer Fun!

Over the 24th of July we went to Sacramento to visit Jim's family - It was so much fun! His family is amazing! James had a great time hanging out with his cousins, Cody & Kelly. It was good to visit with everyone.

We went camping last weekend up to the Uintah's - It was a lot of fun, way relaxing and wonderful to just be outside!! We would love to have one for camping trip before it gets cold - Anyone wanna come??? We love you all! XOXO

Idaho City 24th of July Weekend

We have started a new little tradition for the last couple of years. Over the 24th of July Weekend we go up to my Grandma Bybee's gold claim in Idaho City. It's always a lot of fun. Jim and my Dad worked really hard this year digging and running dirt - I took lots of naps and sat in the creek!! :) I love being outside so I was a happy girl - They did have some success, they found some gold but when they got deep enough to where the gold was it was about time to pack up. Jim really wants a dredge for next year, so they can dredge the creek and find even more gold!!

Flaming Gorge July 17-19

We went to Flaming Gorge - It was a good time - we stayed in a campground that we had our own boat dock to tie up to - The campground was nice - we slept in tents which I haven't done in forever - that ground was hard!! The fish were hard to find this year and we had bad weather one of the days but everyone still had a great time. Brayden (our nephew) came with us - he is such a great kid - I wish we could spend more time with everyone life just gets too busy!!

Last weekend on Saturday we visited the Oquirrh Temple and it was so fun and so beautiful and sooo inspiring. It was a great day , Jim & I took my Grandma Stark and then My Dad, Mom, Rowdy, Alyssa and Rushton met us there. After the temple tour we went to Gardners Village for lunch and to look through the shops. WONDERFUL DAY!

On Sunday it was Grandpa Krugers Birthday and Grandma B's Birthday - we took Grandpa Kruger to brunch and had a great visit, we need to go visit more, I love his stories! After brunch we went to visit my Grandma B and had a nice visit.

We had a great weekend. On Friday night it was James' hockey party, it was a pool party at the Robinson's, James had a lot of fun and it was fun to see the "hockey family" Justin and Tiffany (hockey parents) made a video with hightlights from the season, they did an AMAZING job! We had a tragedy this season when one of the hockey dad's passed away, and in the movie they had a tribute to Doug Robinson, it was very emotional, I don't think there was a dry eye in the room. They also had hockey helmets custom painted for Kaden & Cameron (Doug & Valerie's boys) with a picture of their dad on them. It was neat, they are such a neat family and my thoughts and prayers are with them always! Check out the season - what a record!! The season was dedicated to Doug Robinson.

On Father's Day - Jim & James played their tradtional game of golf. I think they had alot of fun - they called me when they were on the 5th hole and had me run them over some fruit snacks and granola bars (the 5th hole is across the street from our home.

Then we went up to visit my dad for fathers day. On Saturday Jim took some picture of James and Rushton for my dad's fathers day gift. We took some pictures of the boys with my grandpa's saddle. Jim did a great job they all turned out great. Thanks babe!

The first camping trip of the year was a blast. We had a great time hanging out with family and friends. James had fun riding the 4-wheeler and just being a boy! James has been playing Lacrosse again this summer, he's been doing a great job! We love you all!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the sunshine! It is so beautiful outside, everything is green and new. We had a great Easter we spent time with our families. Grandma Chugg came over Easter Morning for pancakes, then we went to the meadow to hang out with the Stark family, it was fun to see everyone, I wish we could all get together more. After the meadow we went up to my mom and dads house and had a great visit. Baby Rushton is growing so fast, I love to see him, he is so flippin cute! James had a good Easter he got the Vulcan Nerf Gun, which he has been wanting forever, he also got a Brad Paisley guitar book and tons of goodies. Jim and I got a Jimmy Buffett guitar book, I have the guitar, I have the book, now I just need some skills! Happy Spring!! Love you all!

Jim's first Hockey Practice

so..... Jim though it would be fun to take hockey lessons, so he could play with James. He's been taking lessons every Thursday night. The first night I went down with him, I think he had fun! He came out to get a drink about mid-practice and was soakin' wet with sweat! He is always willing to try new things, I truly admire that about him. Keep your stick on the ice babe!

Hockey Season

It's been a while since my last post, so I'm way behind. Hockey season is officially over. James and his teams had an amazing season. His house team won the URL State Championships! Way to go boys!

His travel team took 1st in the Spring Fling Tournament another huge accomplishment. We are so proud of James and how far he has come. It's amazing to watch.

James had a program last week that honored America's Hero's. He did an amazing job. I had to wipe a tear away a time or two. We are soooo lucky to live in the United States of America! Even though times are tough right now we still have it pretty good. Jim is a marine veteran, so he was honored with other veterans. They all recieved boutineers. Towards the end of the program there was a "Parade of Hero's " there was a student that heald a flag for the, MARINES, Army, Navy, Coast Guard, & Air Force, the hero's stood behind their respective flags with their child or grand child & marched around the room while the different hymns played. It was AWESOME!

I love this country and I am so proud to be the wife of a Marine!

We just wanted to let our family and friends know how much we LOVE you! Life is so fragile and it can be taken away at a moments notice. We recently had a hockey dad pass away, he was such a great dad. He and his family were always smiling and happy and you can tell how much they love and care for each other. We love you all so much and are so blessed to have you in our lives. Doug's passing brings the realization that life is fleeting, his viewing was packed, you could tell that he had such a positive impact on the lives of the people he knew. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Robinson family. We need to make the most of each second of each day. WE LOVE YOU ALL!!

Durango Colorado Hockey Tournament Feb 14-16

Wildcats are the Champions!! We spent last weekend in Durango, Colorado - The scenery was beautiful! The Wildcats won 3 games, tied 1, and then went on to win the Championship game! It was a fun tournament to go to. We had never been to Durango. Jim & I had a romantic valentines day with hockey and strawberry shakes from Burger King, lol! I love Jim very much and am so glad he is my valentine! XOXO We love you all!

James - Horizon Award

James took this amazing picture for the the Horizons contest at school. He won for Heritage Elementary and went on to the disctrict level. He recieved an award for his picture. He took a picture of an antique circus display at Lagoon and then did color effects to make it look antique. He did a great job. We are so proud of him and all of his accomplishments!

Jim's Birthday was yesterday. A while back he seen that Eddie Money was coming to Wendover and he likes his music so he bought tickets and a room and it worked out great because it was on his b-day weekend. Jim picked me up Friday right after work and we went and checked into our room and then went to the concert. I have to admit I was a bit sceptical because I really didnt even know who Eddie Money was, but once Jim started naming the songs I recongnized him. It was tons of fun! Jim had a good time! James also had a hockey tournament in Idaho Falls this weekend, his first game was Saturday morning, so we had to leave Wendover before the sun to make it to Idaho (for the 1st game) but we made it just in the nick of time. Jim and I went out to dinner last night (after the 2nd game) for his Birthday and he got a call out for work so he brought me home this morning (after the 3rd game) (in Idaho) and jumped in his work truck now he is headed to Soda Springs, Idaho and then Butte, Montana and then.... he has a 3 day project back in Idaho he's drove a lot of miles this weekend and he isnt done yet... he works so hard! So we've had a crazy busy weekend but it's been fun and we've got to spend a lot of time together which I love! James hockey team has done awesome in the Idaho Falls tournament - they won there first 3 games and are playing for the championship at 2:30 - Jim and I had to miss that game because of Jim's callout for work but James will call his dad after and let him know how it went. I will post pictures and details on the tournament tomorrow after we find out how the championship game ended up. Jim is a wonderful husband and an amazing Dad - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

As part of James' christmas from us he got a new room. HE wanted his room to be downstairs so his dad has been working hard and got it done just in the nick of time. We still have a few finishing touches but we're dang near done!

Beau made me this amazing sign, my parents barn fell down last spring because of all the snow and Beau took a piece of the barnwood and made me this with his own hands - I LOVE IT!!

James was laughing so hard in this picture! I love his laugh! We had a great christmas and got lots of awesome gifts. Santa brought him a BC Rich electric guitar and amp, and he got a remote control toy that goes in the snow, sand and water, and some wii games to name a few. It was a good day! Here's Jim with his Fins up golf club cover, Santa brings him a James a Margaritaville head cover every year. He is an amazing dad and a wonderful husband - I am so lucky to have him!!

Broken Arm

soooo........ James had a game yesterday at the Olympic Oval, the game ended in a tie and James ended with a broken wrist! He checked a player from the other team but got hurt in the process. He has a temporary cast on now and will get his permanent cast on Tuesday. He was tough though. He had a tournamnent in Boise, Idaho the weekend after Christmas and also a tournament in Salmon, Idaho the first weekend in January which he won't be able to play in. Bummer!! He's tough though and he's still having fun, instead of Hockey today it's board games with his friends from next door! oh HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Bro BEAU on the 17th, DAD on the 20th and MOM - today the 21st!! LAS VEGAS - National Finals Rodeo

Jim & I spent last week in Las Vegas. We went to the last 5 nights of the NFR. We've been going for years. It's always fun and nice to get away. We went with my parents this year, it was nice to spend time with them. We stayed at the MGM and went to the Rodeo each night and trade shows each day. Jim won some money so that was a bonus too - Not enough to retire though..... I doubled my money and that was good enough for me ( I only gave myself a $5 allowance though, lol) While we were gone James had a game in Logan and HE SCORED the first goal of the game - We were totally bummed we missed it! Tonight he had a recital, I will post pics later this week. After the recital we went to Iggy's with my family for Beau's birthday - HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEAU!! We love you all - keep in touch! XOXO

Thanksgiving Hockey Tournament CHAMPIONS!

Golden Spike Hockey always hosts a hockey tournament over the Thanksgiving Holiday - This year James' team won the PeeWee Division! It was wonderful - at the end of the third quarter Idaho Falls and The Golden Spike Wildcats (James' team) were tied. The game went into sudden death overtime and the Wildcats scored first. It was an awesome game to watch. James got checked into the boards HARD - his dad told him pain is only fear leaving the body, James' managed a little smile. We had Thanksgiving Dinner at Jim's moms new home, it was fun. Jeff, Brayden, Austin & Jax were there, the CUTEST BOYS! (Chanda had to work that day so we missed her) Paul, Amy & Kylie went too, me and Kylie played lots of cards. Later that afternoon we went to my parents for pie.

My Grandma Stark always has the Stark Family Thanksgiving the weekend before, these pictures are from that day! James and Grandma Great, with Jim and then with my mom & dad. We love you all!! XOXO

Happy 11th Birthday JAMES!!

James is 11!! Can you believe it! He is quite the young man. We are so proud of him and he brings us joy beyond measure! We LOVE him so much!! We had a fun weekend, on Friday night we went tot he Grizzly game, it was Pink in the Rink night, all of the Grizzly players wore pink and the ice was even pink, a portion of the proceeds go to help find a cure for breast cancer. It was neat to be a part of it. Jim got to go out on the ice and shoot the puck for $10,000, he didn't make the $10,000 shot but he did win an IPOD Touch, which he gave to James, who was ecstatic!! and he also won a $50 American Express Card AWESOME!! Saturday we had the family over to celebrate James' 11th Birthday. It was wonderful to see everyone.

James got a lot of fun things. We gave him Guitar Hero for his Wii so, I am sure James and his dad will spend alot of time playing that, they both love to play the guitar and they both love to play the Wii. He got a lot of cool gifts, I love his smile!
After the party they went to Toads, and played games and rode the go-carts, a perfect ending to a perfect day! We love you all!! XOXO

Halloween & Hockey

Happy Halloween! We had lots of trick-or-treaters, but we still have extra candy, which we don't want in the house, cuz we'll eat it... and then my butt will get bigger and we don't want that!! so.... if anyone wants candy come on over!! Jim carved his pumpkins, they were cute, as you can see one of them is puking on another one's head ewww - funny though! James had a game today, they won 5-2 - James did wonderful, he had 2 shots on goal! XOXO

This weekend Brayden and Austin came and stayed. All the boys had a lot of fun. James is back on the ice, his foot is all better. They had a game yesterday against the Grizzlies and won 2-0 YaY! Then last night was Grandma B's Halloween Party, so all the boys dressed up. Jim was a Parrot Head (not a stretch) this is what he wore to the last Jimmy Buffet concert in Vegas, walking DOWN THE STRIP! James was a Zombie, he didn't have a lot of time to get ready because the party was right after the game, so he had to change and put on his white face in the car. Brayden was Troy from Hight School Musical 3. Austin was IronMan. They all looked awesome. Hope all is well! XOXO

Busy?!?

I was going to try and post every Thursday, which I haven't kept up with the last few weeks. We've been busy, I don't know why though, it just seems like there are never enough hours in the day! James has been working hard in the basement, we are working on getting it finished. lil James hurt his foot a couple of weeks ago on his scooter so we haven't had soccer or hockey the last two weekends, he should be better this weekend though so that will be good! James and I went to an adoption class last week to learn more about adoption, we learned a lot and are excited to explore all the avenues. lil James said "when we adopt can we get someone close to my age?" He wants a brother or sister, I remember when he was about 3 we were playing around and he said "go get a baby and squish it in your belly button" He is too cute!

Our 9th Anniversay! We had a great time. We went to San Diego, it was absolutely beautiful, the weather was perfect! We did some shopping, James went boogie boarding at Mission Beach, good times! SeaWorld made me a little emotional, it just seems to me that if tiny little people can teach an enormous huge gigantic whale to do things, all of us humans should be able to get along and be peaceful with one another! We rode Atlantis and got soakin' wet, and then on the way out we hit Busch Gardens, they give away FREE beer!! We also went to a Padres/Dodgers game which the Padres won - We must have been good luck, we had great seats and it was a wonderful experience. We spent our aniversary in Las Vegas, of course we hit Margaritaville, and then that evening we went and seen Stomp Out Loud, it was a very entertaining show! James planned everything, he did perfect - It was a blast! We are heading to Sacramento tomorrow, James' Great Grandfather passed away so we are going with his mom out there and attending a memorial service. We love you - XOXO

Labor Day Weekend Fun

Well last weekend we went to Browne Lake with my family, Beau had to work so he couldn't make it, I missed him. We had a lot of fun. Mally and Sam (our dogs) followed James around, they love there little boy! The weather held out and was nice until Sunday nite and boy did it rain. We seen the first snow of the season! We played lots of games and played at the Lake. It was fun. Jim & I are leaving tomorrow after work for San Diego. We are going there to celebrate our 9th anniversary! XOXO

This is a pic of Jim, James, Gavin & Cayden (the neighbor boys) We went up to Hyrum Lake and played on the boat. It was a lot of fun, the boys loved getting pulled around in the tube, including the Big kid, Jim! The lil boys made a slide on the bank, it was hillarious they would take a bucket of water up and pour it down and then slide down the mud into the lake. It was a good day!
